Pack ingredients in separate snap lock bags or small containers.
Pack 1:
- 3/4 cup Bourghal
Pack 2:
- 1/4 cup plain flour
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Pack 3:
- 1 Dspn dried onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried mint leaves
- 1 tsp vegetable stock powder
In a small container
- 3 Dspn lemon juice
- 3 Dspn oil
- 3 Dspn
What to do:
- Place bourghal into a pot with 1 cup water
- Bring it to the boil
- Set aside and the grain soak in the water
- Add Pack 2 and knead for 5 minutes until well combined
- Roll into small kofte balls
- Fry Pack 3 for 1 min
- Add 2 cups water and bring to the boil
- Simmer balls for 7 – 10 mins
- Add more water if required
