Posted by I will be brief today. The entire way into Grants was 22 miles walking on Hwy 117 into Grants. It was a slog to say the least and the lack of photos clearly shows my enthusiasm and motivation for writing today.
I’m not sure where the rest if the gang are. I never saw them after filling up at the piped water source yesterday. Maybe I’ll run into them in town. They had planned on sharing rooms at the Super 8. Accomodation for me would be be next door at the SureStay. I’m on paid vacation and don’t need to watch the wallet so much so am able to slightly upgrade to hotels that have all the services I need including breakfast, wifi, working facilities, spa and laundry. I will take a day off tomorrow.
The single pay off today was the all you can eat Asian buffet for dinner. Needless to say I gorged myself filling up on clean and healthy asian food.
