… to find another piece of gear that I covert. In this case it is the Six Moon Designs Lunar Solo tarp tent. A single skinned (ie. tarp) with a built in bath floor and sewn no-seem-um mesh screen. It has all the benefits of the shelter system that I was previously looking at. At 650g (23 oz) it is light, is quick to set up and flexible. All the reviews I’ve read thus far have raved about this. The only downside that I can see is some condensation that some users have reported when it has been below zero and it has been fully closed, relying on the small roof vent and gap along the bottom for ventilation. Check it out. I’m bound to.
