I spent 3 full days in Butte doing very little other than resting and eating. Luckily there were quite a few restaurants and eateries in close proximity to the motel I was based out of on the south end of town.
I had sent new shoes to the motel a week before and collected them. It was amazing to compare the new with the old and seeing just how much the shoe cushioning gets compressed with use, splaying out to the sides.
Laundry and resupply complete I was ready to head towards Lincoln.
