So good to take a full day off trail, sleep in and basically relax all day, apart from a few minor chores.
The main agenda for the day was a food resupply and visit a barber for a make over.
It was super hot at 103 degrees by midday with a four day heat wave predicted. I had a very hard decision to make. Do I hike on in The Great Basin in the knowledge of the forecast conditions, wait out the heat for several days, walk through the night or skip the basin and head to lander? I would mull this over all day.

Bloody Hot mate! See Aspen is 26 didnt think it would get that hot there, i spents some time in the 90s on those slopes….
